Any taxpayer who feels their assessment does not fairly reflect the value of their property may appeal that assessment within 60 days of the date of the Notice of Assessment. Prior to filing a written complaint, contact the Assessor to review the assessment with you:

Explaining Property Assessments
If after talking with the Assessor’s Office your concerns are not satisfied, you may file a formal complaint with the Assessment Review Board. A written complaint explaining why you feel your assessment is incorrect, must be sent to the Clerk of the Assessment Review Board for the Town of Vauxhall, information and form to prepare your complaint are available at the Administration Office or provided below:
