Monster Truck Rides (Starting at 12:00 p.m.)
Behind the derby grounds on 7th Ave.
Tim and his brother John decided to build a monster truck from scratch. They set out doing research. Where's the best place to research Monster trucks? Vegas of course! They began to frequent the many Monster Truck competitions held in the desert city. Tim's wife, Delayne, was ok with all this 'research' because she got to go along to Vegas too. The truck took a total of 3 years to complete, with plenty of blood, sweat, and tears. Well, at least the blood and sweat. The truck was bulit using the body of a 59 Chevy, and other odds and ends from a Thunder Truck that Delayne used to race. Over the three years that this truck took to complete, Tim and Delayne had a son. He has grown up watching his dad work in the garage, and learning a thing or two. The inspiration for the name of the truck came from one of Tim and Delayne's many trips to Vegas - it had to be Rabid Rabbit.
